The bby wow dance ai trend, explained
The bby wow dance ai trend is the October 2026 wave of 15-second AI videos in which you, a cowboy, a bodybuilder, a baby or a pet take the place of the dancer in a 2025 party clip and repeat his walk, finger bite and point at the camera. It is also called Dime Dime Baby, and both names mean the same meme. Make yours from one photo.
What the trend is
The picture is always the same. At a wedding or a quinceañera, a person steps out of the crowd and walks toward the camera, rolls their shoulders, puts a finger between their teeth and stares into the lens. They turn away for two steps on the dance floor, come back, point at the camera and grin. It lasts about 15 seconds and is shot vertically for TikTok, Reels and Shorts.
Two things changed in 2026. First, people started copying the walk in real life, in dance videos tagged #bbywow. Second, in October the copy moved to AI: the person in the video is swapped for someone else, while the moves stay the same. The funniest swaps change the whole look, such as the cowboy, the giant bodybuilder or the baby in a striped onesie.
Bby Wow AI makes that AI version. Its 15 seconds follow six beats that were measured from the reference movement: walk-in, finger bite, close pass, floor spin, return and point.

The song question
Many people assume the clip is set to BBY WOW, because both went viral in the same season. That is not confirmed. The original clip carries a sound labelled "sonido original", not the song, and where the phrase "dime dime baby" comes from is unconfirmed too. What is known: BBY WOW by Karol G with Judeline and Rusowsky began trending on 7 August 2026, and the dance videos were later tagged with it. The sound on the AI remakes is a creator's original sound. Bby Wow AI is not affiliated with the artists or their labels and does not sell or distribute the song. Why it spread
- The pose is easy to read. A finger bite and a stare work with the sound off, in a thumbnail and in the first second.
- The moves are short. One walk, one turn and one point fit in 15 seconds, so anyone can remake it.
- It is funny when the swap is strange. A bodybuilder, a baby or a dog keeping the same straight face is the joke. See the pet version.
- It crosses languages. Interest is highest in Spanish-speaking countries, with remakes in English, Arabic, Vietnamese and Korean too.
- Making it got easy. Once AI video models could copy a movement, a photo was enough. Read how the one-photo route works in how to make the video, or see why a copied prompt is not enough.
